A beautiful bush rose producing exceedingly fragrant, dusky pink blooms
A very special, British grown bush rose, Rosa ‘Queen Elizabeth II’ has been produced to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Exceedingly fragrant, the flowers of this rose are large and beautiful, and sport the most elegant shade of soft pink.
The Queen Elizabeth II Rose was officially selected by Her Majesty, and for every rose sold in the first five years, £2.50 will be donated to The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust. This trust dedicates itself to supporting excellence and opportunity in British craftsmanship, and since 1990, has awarded nearly five million pounds to 600 makers (with 90% still practising their craft today).
This bush rose is wonderful for growing in a pot, making it perfect for every type of garden. It is also very robust, and benefits from a good disease resistance too. The foliage is large of a rich, emerald green shade, which contrasts beautifully against the abundant pink roses.
