The Japanese named Prunus Shizuka (meaning quiet or calm) is a most fitting name for this ornamental cherry tree. It emits a beautiful light fragrance and takes a unique vase shape.

The leaves of this flowering plant are a soft, delicate green in spring and summer. Come autumn, they fade to a mellow orange.

As the the Fragrant Cloud is a medium sized ornamental tree, it would be best planted as a specimen tree or as a focal point of any sized garden.
