Popular winter flowering variety
A dazzlingly pretty mid season Camellia with soft pink blooms sitting elegantly atop of rich, glossy green foliage. The flowers are of good size, as with most Camellias and can have over 80 petals per head. ‘Bonomiana’ produces these fantastic flowers for several weeks from January through to March provided a dash of soft colour to the winter garden. As the bloom intensifies in early spring they are just spectacular. The petals are wonderfully arranged into a sophisticated double bloom arrangement tightly curled round a central cone creating a real spectacle. As a small shrub this Camellia is perfectly suited to planting in a container to bring some colour to a terrace or patio and will do best in ericaceous soil in either partial shade or sun.
